Why Choose CHARLTON BROWNWhy Choose CHARLTON BROWN?
Become a World Class Carer
CHARLTON BROWN understands that people are our most precious resource in this world. Our aim is to help safeguard this resource by educating and placing carers who share our philosophy and are committed to quality care provision.
At CHARLTON BROWN, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and practical training courses that equip our students with the knowledge, skills and experience to become world-class care givers.
Strong industry links for Australian and International placements
CHARLTON BROWN has established strong industry links across the community services industry both nationally and globally.
In addition to offering practical placements within Australia, CHARLTON BROWN is proud to offer international practical placements in specialised care facilities across the Asia-Pacific region.
For a period of two weeks to two months, students can gain essential knowledge and training whilst dedicating their time in internships, student exchanges and volunteer work in charities helping our partners in Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Korea provide quality care to their clients.
Work part-time whilst you study
At CHARLTON BROWN, our Agency and Employment Support Coordinator can assist in finding you part-time, paid work (in accordance with your visa), across the disciplines, with our industry partners on a casual, shortterm or permanent basis, in live-in and live-out positions.
For those studying child-related qualifications, we also have a Nanny Agency on-site. If you are studying Child Care and you are interested in part-time work or casual baby-sitting, you can register with us as a nanny.
Pathways to further study
CHARLTON BROWN promotes pathways to universities and other educational institutions, through our articulation agreements, across all featured disciplines.
Examples of such pathways include an 18 month Diploma of Nursing with Careers Australia Group College of Healthcare, from the Certificate IV in Aged Care, or an option to pursue a Bachelor Level Degree with the University of Southern Queensland or Griffith University.
