Overseas Student Health Cover

As International students are not covered by Australia’s national health program, Medicare, it is a requirement of your student visa to purchase an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy prior to commencing study in Australia.

CHARLTON BROWN has an arrangement with Australian Health Management (AHM) to provide the health cover you require. The cost of your OSHC is in addition to your tuition fees for your course/s and will vary depending on the length and type of cover required. Your OSHC will be arranged by CHARLTON BROWN.


Airport Reception

Students requiring transfers from the Brisbane domestic or international airports can arrange for a CHARLTON BROWN representative to meet them on arrival and transport them safely to their accommodation. For more information please contact our free student service.


Orientation

To make sure you feel welcome, the first day of your course with CHARLTON BROWN will be an orientation day, where we will share with you important information about your study and your time with us.


Social Activities

At CHARLTON BROWN, we support you in your study and encourage you to take some time to explore our Brisbane lifestyle, with organised day trips to local attractions, visits to affiliate colleges and College social events with your new friends and classmates.


Personal Support Counsellors

CHARLTON BROWN have trained, qualified counsellors who are aware of some of the challenges facing international students, and provide free and confidential personal, academic and career advice.


Improve your English

CHARLTON BROWN offers weekly conversational English sessions to provide international students with a casual environment to practice their English, ask questions about personal or study related documents, and interact with their classmates in a fun and friendly environment.


Employment

CHARLTON BROWN has an onsite Employment Consultant free of charge for all students. Our consultants are here to assist students seek work in their chosen field and provide guidance for pathways into future study.
