I had known about APM for a while and it was always a good option after I finished school. I took a year off in 2006 and worked knowing that I had a spot in a Business/ Commerce degree at UWS if I wanted that in 2007.

The internship, length of time I'd be studying (one year) and the fact it was sports based was much more appealing to me, so I went with APM.

I am working for the NSW institute of Sport as a Marketing Assistant - Media and Publications. In a nutshell, my job involves writing web stories and media press releases about news from our athletes, writing articles for our quarterly magazine 'the edge' updating and maintaining the website, helping to organise events and other stuff that happens on a day to day basis. With the Olympics coming up in August the job will be getting more hectic, but it will be a lot of fun.

It's awesome!!! I work with good people, its sports related and the media aspect has allowed me to experience a different side to marketing that I
didn't think I would have at this point in time.
